Something for My Male Readers

red_tieI’m a woman, so I don’t read Men’s Health News—but my good friend, Tim, does!

And he shared with me this article by Scott Rosenfield in Men’s Health News, titled “5 Reasons to Bike to Work.” Here are the five things Rosenfield says bike-commuting can help you do:

  1. Lose weight.
  2. Have better sex.
  3. Save other people’s lives (seriously).
  4. Save money.
  5. Have fun buying a new bike.

Not too shabby, eh? In the past, I’ve offered some other reasons to bike to work, as well as some benefits I’ve reaped from bike-commuting. Anyone else out there have any others to share?

    Be less stressed by avoiding traffic. Also, be able to travel at your own pace, regardless of rush hour, etc.

      So true! The feeling of traveling the same distance as motorists in less time is so empowering. (Sorry for the delayed reply.)
